Getting Started

How do I extract an event from an image?
Open the app and select an image using one of these methods: take a photo with your camera, select from your photo library, paste from clipboard, or use the share extension from any app. The AI will analyze the image and extract event details automatically.
What information does it extract?
The app extracts: event title, date, time, location, notes, attendees, and conference URLs (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex). It also detects whether the meeting is in-person, virtual, or hybrid.
Can I edit the extracted details?
Yes. After extraction, you'll see a review screen where you can edit any field before saving to your calendar.
Which calendars does it work with?
Events save to your iOS Calendar, which automatically syncs with Google Calendar, Outlook, and other services via standard calendar sync.

Features

Can it extract multiple events from one image?
Yes. If your image contains multiple events (like a schedule or list), the app will detect and extract each one separately. Event series like "Jan 9, 16, 23, 30" create separate calendar entries with labeled titles.
Does it recognize recurring events?
Yes. Patterns like "Every Friday" or "Weekly on Tuesdays" create proper recurring events in your calendar.
How does the Share Extension work?
When viewing an image in any app (Mail, Safari, Messages, Photos), tap the Share button and select "Screenshots to Calendar." The app will open with the image ready for extraction.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. The app supports both iPhone and iPad, including drag-and-drop image input on iPad.

API Keys & Providers

How do I use my own API key?
Go to Settings, tap the AI provider you want to configure, and enter your API key. Keys are stored securely in iOS Keychain.
What happens if my API key fails?
The app automatically falls back to the next provider in your priority list. You can configure the fallback order in Settings. If all your configured providers fail and you have credits, it uses the backend service.
Is my API key secure?
Yes. API keys are stored in iOS Keychain, the same secure storage used for passwords. They are never sent to our servers.
Which AI providers are supported?

We support five leading AI providers:

OpenAI Claude Google Mistral Grok

Plans & Credits

Is the app free?
Yes, with your own API key. Configure your OpenAI, Claude, or other provider's API key and extract events at zero cost to the app. You only pay your provider's standard API rates.
What are credits?
Credits let you use our backend service without configuring your own API key. 1 credit = 1 extraction. Available as pay-as-you-go packs.
Do credits expire?
Credit packs do not expire.
Can I get a refund?
All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's refund policy. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

Troubleshooting

Extraction failed or returned incorrect data
  1. Ensure the image is clear and readable
  2. Check your internet connection
  3. Try a different AI provider in Settings
  4. If using your own API key, verify it's valid and has sufficient credits
Can't save to calendar
  1. Go to iPhone Settings → Screenshots to Calendar → Calendars
  2. Enable calendar access
  3. Restart the app and try again
Share Extension not appearing
  1. Tap the Share button in any app
  2. Scroll to the end and tap "Edit Actions"
  3. Enable "Screenshots to Calendar"

Privacy

What data does the app collect?
When using your own API key, images are sent directly to your provider and we never see them. When using our backend service, images are temporarily retained for up to 14 days for debugging, then automatically deleted. API keys are stored locally in iOS Keychain. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Does it work offline?
No. Extraction requires an internet connection to communicate with the AI provider.
